What is Hogan Certification?

Hogan Certification is an internationally recognised accredited training programme that equips professionals with the skills to administer, interpret, and provide feedback on the Hogan Personality Assessments:

  • Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI).

  • Hogan Development Survey (HDS).

  • Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI).

Amanda Wilmot

Amanda brings proven corporate credibility and hands-on expertise delivering People, Performance and Culture assessments. Her Master’s in Research Psychology, alongside dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Education, underpins an evidence-based approach, enriched by early volunteering with the SA Depression and Anxiety Group, where she cultivated empathy and a human-centred design ethos. Amanda is also a certified Executive Coach to ILM Level 7.

What To Expect:

Preparation

Prior to the workshop participants have access to on-line learning which introduces the tools and scales. This enables each participant to explore meaning and check their understanding is accurate. Completion is at the participant's pace and at a time to fit their learning preference and timeline. Participants often like to come to the workshop with a basic knowledge they can build on.

Each participant is requested to ask a volunteer to complete the questionnaires. Post-workshop, this is important to enable participants to practice their interpretation and receive personal guidance prior to offering feedback. Participants also have the option to complete the online questionnaires and experience the assessments for themselves.

2-Day Workshop

Day 1 of the workshop will include perspectives of personality assessment; interpreting and applying the HPI and HDS.

Day 2 will include interpreting and applying the MVPI, and practice delivering effective feedback on all three inventories.

Completion and Accreditation

We believe professionals want to be sure they can competently interpret results from these personality tools to help their clients gain the most from them.

To support this, participants complete a questionnaire online to check their knowledge and accuracy and email a short summary outlining their interpretation of their volunteer's results to us. One of our workshop facilitators will then arrange a call with you to discuss your perspective and help with questions.

On successful completion of these steps, we will register you globally with Hogan and send you a confirmation certificate. You will then be able to purchase and use the tools.
