The APS Hogan Refresher, created by our experienced certification team to help participants get back up and running with the Hogan Personality tools quickly.  You must have completed the Hogan Certification full training in order to take the refresher.

What is APS Hogan Refresher?

APS Hogan Refresher is a three-hour facilitated webinar for Hogan-certified practitioners. The course is designed to quickly bring certified professionals back up to speed and restore confidence after a certification gap, a period of inactivity, or an extended absence from using the tools.

Typical attendees often include Hogan Certified: HR, recruitment specialists, executive and leadership coaches, organisational psychologists and development consultants.

You Will Refresh Your Skills In:

  • Interpreting main scale results.

  • Referencing subscale results to sharpen main scale interpretations.

  • Considering unconscious bias. 

  • Linking results across the 3 assessment tools.

  • Giving Hogan feedback.

Course Outcomes:

On successful completion, you will have refreshed your understanding of the Hogan framework and the distinction between identity and reputation, renewed your ability to interpret HPI, HDS and MVPI main scales and subscales, practiced integrating HPI‑HDS‑MVPI results through a real‑data case study, and renewed your confidence in delivering Hogan feedback using APS’s recommended approach.

Rob holds a Master's Degree in Strategic Human Resource Management in addition to a Degree in Education and is a graduate of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development. Rob gained global corporate experience across various sectors including Colt Technology Services, Avis, United Health Group, and Data Analytics. Working at group level provided significant multicultural leadership experience that influenced Leadership Development initiatives and learning focus.

Amanda Wilmot

Amanda brings proven corporate credibility and hands-on expertise delivering People, Performance and Culture assessments. Her Master’s in Research Psychology, alongside dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Education, underpins an evidence-based approach, enriched by early volunteering with the SA Depression and Anxiety Group, where she cultivated empathy and a human-centred design ethos. Amanda is also a certified Executive Coach to ILM Level 7.
