The Trusted Leader Workshop can be held in-person or virtually through our purpose built SkillsPilot platform and typically runs over 2 full days or 4 half days.  Registration is straightforward and supported by our team, with case studies provided in advance. Bookings are flexible by cohort or organisation.

The Trusted Leader Workshop explores the essential qualities for building trust, fostering psychological safety, and driving high team performance. Delivered through a blend of interactive plenary sessions and small group activities, participants are introduced to proven leadership frameworks and practical tools. They then apply these methods to a realistic team management case study, practising new techniques in groups of 4–6, each supported by an experienced coach. 75% of the workshop is dedicated to practising leadership skills in real-world scenarios.

The Trusted Leader Masterclass uses a custom case study relevant to your organisation.  Prior to the workshop consultants will work with you to develop this case study. 

Skills practice sessions are highly relevant to your organisation and will be customised prior to the workshop.

Implementation

Set-up: 

Prior to the workshop, there is no pre-work required for participants, ensuring immediate engagement and accessibility for managers at all levels. Instead, the focus is on a collaborative, consultative set-up process with key stakeholders (e.g. HR, L&D, and business leaders) to tailor the programme to the organisation’s specific context, priorities, and commercial challenges. This includes aligning the content to existing leadership frameworks, incorporating relevant organisational scenarios, and adapting language, case studies, and examples to maximise relevance. Where required, workshop materials can also be customised to reflect internal branding and messaging, ensuring a cohesive learner experience and seamless integration with existing development initiatives.

Workshop:

The Trusted Leader Masterclass is a 2 day or 4 half-day, dynamic experience designed to immerse participants in practical and interactive learning. Guided by expert facilitators, each session is anchored in real-world case studies relevant to your organisation.  Participants collaborate in small groups, engaging in skills practice where they explore consultative techniques, receive personalised feedback, and develop authentic ways to build and sustain trust. The safe, collegial environment promotes open dialogue and the sharing of insights, ensuring that every attendee is equipped with strategies to foster stronger relationships and increase their organisational impact.

Next Steps:

Following the workshop, managers are expected to translate insight into consistent day-to-day leadership behaviours that build trust, strengthen capability, and drive performance. This means proactively applying coaching techniques in regular one-to-ones, delivering timely and evidence-based feedback, and tailoring communication styles to individual needs. Managers should prioritise purposeful conversations, using structured frameworks to clarify expectations, align thinking, and support problem-solving. By embedding these habits into routine interactions, managers will enhance engagement, increase accountability, and accelerate the development of their teams—ultimately improving both individual performance and broader business outcomes.
